As of today, Jason and I have been married for 4 years! I'll admit they havn't always been wonderful but we got throuwgh them and we are a stronger couple now than we ver have been before. I love Jason and he is the perfect man for me.
Jason and I started dating about 7 years ago after all of our HS friends came home one spring/summer. it was starnge how we all came home around the same time. Me from my Charleston and New Mexico adventures and Jason was living in Tulsa but came home for knee surgury. We hooked up and stayed together.

I want to tank all of you that are thinking positive thoughts for my family regarding the BIG move home to Texas. All the emails and prayers mean a lot to me. No news yet. Jason has left a couple messages on the HR lady's voice mail. There is some "stuff going down" and I am sure she is busy.
Jason did get a promotion on Tuesday...I'm proud of him for that, but afraid it will hinder the move. Keep the positive thoughts coming! thanks!

Today Jason is planning on talking to HR and see if he can transfer to Dallas. He doesn't think he will be able too, so that means he will be looking for a new job there. He would much rather move with this company he really loves it! and you know what I do too...they are really good to thier employees and great insurance! lol

Why Dallas? Its home and its affordable. We will be able to buy a home in a year or two, afford the medical help i need to be able to have babies and there are oppotunities there for me as a photographer. WE NEED THIS MOVE.

STRESS...jason and I have been under a lot of that lately. So we decided we need some Disney time. So this weekend you will find us at Walt Disney World. We will be under the Disney Magical Spell were we will forget that we hate were we live, we are at the mercy of other people to offer a job to allow us to move home, etc. I will eat at least one dole whip.

Jason and I were talking to other day and he found out something about me he didn't know....so I'll share with you.
When I was 19 i went to the local Navy recruiting office (Navy bc EVERYONE in my family has always been Navy) and they gave me the test. I took it in like half the time and only missed one question (yes shhh I'm smart). Well the recruiters told me i could go into the Nuke program or the Nuke program. My cusion was an instuctor at the time, at Power School (of of the Nuke Schools) so i said no thanks. and went to art school..talk about sticking it to the man! lol

One of the cool things about living near Miami is South Beach...very cool place to take pictures! But the down side is crazy drivers, no parking, and its expensive! But you have to see south beach at least once!

i take for granted

i take for granted to be a US citizen. I was born here. My friend Luisa was not, she was born in Columbia. We are both US citizens though. She became a citizen a couple months ago....but today she got her US passport in the mail. I was there to witness here jump up and down and screen when she got it. It's something i take for granted but it wanted to make me cry of happiness to see her be so exited to become something i was at birth.

Okay I am a paper lover...I always have been. But latley I've been gravitationg to chatterbox, scenic route, my minds eye and hambly.

Hambly is a new company that silk screens thier paper and overlays. I didn't have any until Luisa was nice enough to let me have a sheet to use for thier DT call. It was love at 1st sight! You dont get the full effect of this paper online you must see it live and in person!!!

I have to find a job. a part time silly job. why? well we need this stuff called food. They raised our rent by $200 so its time for me to get a job. It sucks bc I really hope we are only in S FL for a couple more months.

I not only need a new job but I need a new trimmer. I'm wanting a tonic guilotine trimmer....but it's $40...and well sicne food seems to be a prioity...the trimmer will have to wait...

yes she is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. She is a true friend. If she is your friend she gives you 100%. If she is not she can pretend you don't even exist (trust me I've seen that in action...it's impressive in itself.)
We met my 1st day at the Scrapbook Fanatic, and i was glad to see i got to work with very talented scrappers. You can see her work at two peas.

I've camped

I'm not sure if I would do it again...it was fun. maybe if we had an air bed or something like that but I WILL NOT SLEEP IN THE GROUND AGAIN! (that should sound like Scarlett's "we will never go hungry again" line in Gone With the Wind)

We were camping on Peanut island in West Palm Beach and I am sure half the state of FL was there. IT WAS INSANE. If you ever needed proof why people should have to get a boating license this weekend would be a good test case. I swar I have never seen more people drunk rude, and clueless....NOT A GOOD COMBO. Yes there were a ton of sherrif out but you know wht, i never saw then do any thing even when we held for help bc to boats were playing chicken. oh well had fun but won't be doing that again.

THATS ME!!! GETTING READY TO RUN....MY BOOBS PLASTERED DOWN BY 2 SPPORTS BARS.....AND MY LUCKY LONGHORN TSHIRT (that only fits hen I'm wearing two sports bras)

I ran and I ran a lot back in middle school...i an and i got medals and trophies...darn it i was fast (of course i was, my legs were as long as mos kids entire bodies!) I loved it...i could think and escape the fighting at home (me and my mom).

Then came High School and a friend named Robin (Jason best friend no less) and he told me almost everyday i ran funny (and for i know i do since I've never run infront of a mirror (because that would look funny)). I quit running.....and i quit dancing around the same time....so I became out of shape until my sophmore year in college...then after that i got fat again and never lost it from there.

So today I started running again. I went out for 30 mins...and for 1 min I walked for 30 secs I ran. i till fo this again tomorrow and thursday. Friday I shoot with friends...and we will see I do it on the weekend. but i think 3 days a week is better than no days a week...and I really hope i don't run funny
